Promatic Group, the market leading clay pigeon trap manufacturer announced earlier this month the appointment of Allan Binstead as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Allan has been leading Promatic International as a Managing Director alongside Brian Jardine, since September 2009.
Promatic Group holds global leadership in the manufacturing and distribution of clay pigeon shooting equipment, with operations on 2 continents and a distribution network in over 60 countries worldwide. The company is heavily involved in major shooting competitions both on local and global scale, from local charity shoots, to the World Sporting, World FITASC or US Open, supporting the shooting industry since 1985.
Prior to joining Promatic, Allan held a number of senior management positions in companies such as Rolls Royce, Alcoa Fastening Systems, Ansell Healthcare and Oleo International, accumulating extensive international experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Management. He is a specialist in niche manufacturing and international sales, with proven track record of business development. Allan shares Brian’s vision about the company’s future, his passion about the UK manufacturing of all Promatic products and he is adamant to maintain the outstanding customer support Promatic is known for.
It’s business as usual for Brian Jardine though. Having passed over the administration of the business, he will focus on product development, and will dedicate more time to his lifetime passion – shooting, creating competition not only in the board room but also on the shooting field. Allan himself is a keen shooter, having shot at amateur level, but he will have to spend a lot of time on the shooting ground if he wants to challenge BJ on the medal winning side.
We wish Allan all the best in his new position.
