New Ranger Chondel/Rabbit

20/12/2005

The trap you have been waiting for at an unbelievably low price. This new model is now available to buy.

Our design team have created an instant classic with another Industry First.  The Ranger Chondel/Rabbit is capable of throwing standard targets dome down with the Tilt Base, giving you unheard of target presentation which until now has only been possible with the use of manual traps. (Course Designers & Course Setters - Please note that we will be demonstrating the machine at the Triple Classic at the Meadows, USA in March, this will give you an opportunity to evaluate how you can incorporate this unique flight profile into future events)

It throws conventional clays either just above the ground, or as loopers or near vertical teal. As a result it can meet any course design requirements and the speed of adjustment means clubs can change their course as often as they want.

What about Rabbits ? It will also throw rabbit targets along the ground, or as loopers or as near vertical teal.

And all of this is based on proven Ranger technology used at clubs and commercial grounds across the World so quality and reliability are outstanding. All of our normal Ranger Accessories will also work with the Chondel/Rabbit model.

Promatic help set New World Record

    03/11/2005

Congratulations to Kent Gun Club who have been officially recognised as the Guinness World Record holders.  The squad of five took 12 hours to break a total of 4,608 clays out of 5,000 thrown.

Commenting on the extraordinary performance squad leader Bob Barrett said "This was greatly helped by our two year old Promatic Trap which performed faultlessly with ZERO NO BIRDS from the 5,000 thrown.  This was a large contributing factor of us achieving our aim."

    Promatic Goes Stainless

    01/11/2005

    Promatic Traps - Stainless Steel

In keeping with the company philosophy of constantly striving to improve the product range when ever possible, Promatic is pleased to announce the following news.

As from the 1st November 2005, all new Promatic club and commercial machines from the Harrier spec and upwards will be fitted with high quality stainless steel throwing plates as standard. Although the stainless steel we are using is twice the price of our standard plates there will be no additional charge passed on to customers.

We know it has been puzzling to you that we have not used stainless steel in the past, after all we normally lead the market in rust proofing techniques. However, this is something we have been working on for over a year.

The problem is that anyone can produce a machine and say it has stainless steel parts, but that does not necessarily mean that it is of a high quality grade. To save money when using stainless steel you just use a thinner material than the regular steel, but then you lose structural integrity and strength. As you know we never compromise on quality so identifying a high enough quality stainless steel which could be machined to the tolerances we demand has taken some time and then we needed to field test it by subjecting it to the hardest weather conditions possible, a test all our rust proofing has to pass.

At Promatic we only use the very best of materials without cutting corners to ensure that when a customer buys a Promatic trap he can be sure it will give him many years of trouble free service. Our machines may not be the lightest in their class but they are the best, being extremely durable to handle the toughest of conditions you can throw at them. Don’t just take our word for it, ask our customers all around the world!

Promatic is also offering its existing customers the opportunity to upgrade their machines to the new spec throwing plates on a discounted basis. Contact Promatic for further details
